The Greatest Story Never Told

Now I'll be the first to admit Im not the biggest Saigon fan but I got to give credit when its due. It took forever for The Greatest Story Never Told to come out, it took almost as long as it's taking for Dre to drop Detox if not longer. Through the label changes and other BS Im surprised Saigon was able to drop such a great album. Granted this isn't his album release it is his first studio release. The production on this album is immaculate and thats mainly because Just Blaze produce most the album. Far as lyrical content bar for bar Saigon didn't have a problem holding it down. Some songs you should check out are Come On Baby, Enemies, Friends, Bring Me Down and a lot more. Saigon delivered on this his first studio album, so go out and support the homie.

Equestrian Dro

This mixtape was the hot release this week, Dro comes through with his unique flow and style. Equestrian Dro is full of bangers and proves Dro can certainly hold his own without TIP. He clearly proved he can carry the Grand Hustle flag while the King is in the pen. Most of the mixtape uses original production and has some production that you probably heard before. The tracks that stood out are, Freeze Me (remix), Polo Down, Coo, and he even made Diamond's "Lotta Money" worth listening to. Again this mixtape is a banger Dro put in that work, so check it out and see for yourself.

Road To The High Life

The wait is finally over the voice behind some of Joe Budden's hottest singles like Stuck in the Moment, All of Me and many more has dropped some material. Emanny's fans have been waiting for him drop something for along time now he proves it was well worth the wait. His talent shines throughout  the whole mixtape with his song writing and strong voice. So I suggest you if you got your girl coming over you put on Get You Home or Blow Your Mind. Emanny even sends a response to Marsha Ambrosius Hope She Cheats On You with his own version that you can bump fellas. There are alot more dope tracks on this mixtape so give this joint some spins.

EYES of VERITAS

If you havent heard of Gilbere Forte I suggest you get real familiar with the homie. Gilbere Forte follows up 87 Dreams with Eyes of Veritas and doesnt disappoint. He was born in Michigan and is based in Philly so has the best of two cities in him. His style is a mix between Kanye West and Kid Cudi very laid back but lyrical as fuck. All the production on this mixtape are all original so it plays like an album. Gilbere will soon be force in the game to be reckoned with, dude has the ability to take over if giving a chance. The tracks you should check out are The Eyes, Veritas, Born in 87, Lights On, The Exports, and there so many dope tracks so get familiar NOW.

I Got Cabin Fever

Wiz Khalifa dropped Cabin Fever this past week its his first mixtape since Kush and Orange Juice. Out the gate Wiz comes out swinging with the first track which features Trae & Big Sean and it sets the tone for the whole mixtape. Wiz comes out more aggressive than usual and seems to work for him of course Wiz raps about what he knows WEED, CARS, CLOTHES, and HOES. As far as highlights for this mixtape its hard to choses but I'll give you a few Phone Numbers, WTF, Homicide, and alot more. Its a short mixtape Im sure this can hold you over until Wiz drops his debut album on Atlantic

The Marathon Continues

Nipsey Hussle follows Bullets Aint Got No Name Volumes 1,2, and 3 with "The Marathon". I have to say this by far is his best work. Lyrically Nipsey has always been a monster consistently and continues that with his latest release.  Even thought his debut album hasn't dropped Nipsey definitely gave his fans something they bump until it drops. Nipsey crosses life stories on the streets of  L.A., with his come up, and inspiration.  This isn't your typical mixtape this isnt jacking for beats. Only four of the songs on this mixtape use other artist productions on the whole tape. The whole mixtape is a highlight to but the songs that stood out are Love?, A Million, U Dont Have A Clue, 7 Days A Week, Dreamin, One Take 3 but check it out for your self and enjoy.
