We Are Lasers

After almost two years and protest by fans of Lupe Fiasco they finally got the album they fought for Lasers. For those that dont know Lasers was suppose to drop in late 2009 but the label refused to release the album until Lupe signed a 360 deal but he refused. After the the fans signed petitions and protested outside of Atlantic Records, the record company finally folded, and gave the album an release date. Lasers stands Love Always Shines Everytime, Remember 2 Smile. The music on this album is dope but at times you can see where label had its influence but the songs are still dope. The production on the album is great and the lyrics are on point. If people sit and listen to this album for what it is and stop looking for another Food and Liquor  they would realize it's a dope ass album period, talent always shines through. Now the dope cuts from this album are  Shinning Down, Letting Go, Beautiful Lasers and a lot more tracks that you can chill out to. So go out and buy this and support good music.

Juice

This weeks hot mixtape release was by Juice with American Me 2 : The Progression. If you dont know Juice is protégé of The Game. Unlike Game Juice is coming out of Arizona with his. With a similar flow as The Game and similar lyrical approach, I was interested to see if he would show growth with this mixtape and I have to give him credit. He was able to stop the name dropping raps and give for the most part dope ass lyrics with dope production behind it. Juice was able to prove he more than just Game's  protégé but his own artist. Some the dope cuts on the mixtape are: My Open Letter, Born 2 Die, Do Right By Me, and alot more so check it out.

Marsha Marsha Marsha

The wait is finally over, many fans of Marsha Ambrosius have begging for her to drop an album. If didn't you know Marsha Ambrosius started out in the group Floetry but after three albums the duo parted ways. Marsha delivered with Late Nights & Early Mornings proving an artist can still be an artist in today's music industry. The writing is spectacular on the album and her voice is one in a kind. The production on Late Nights & Early Mornings fit her voice perfectly and sonic wise is beautiful. Marsha gave her fans an album that they can listen to from beginning to end and proved that you don't have to sell your artistic integrity to a record label. The highlights on Late Nights & Early Mornings are : Late Nights & Earl Morning a sensual song that you can throw on when man/woman comes over, Far Away this is a beautiful song that touches on suicide, and of course Hope She Cheats On You a song that I'm most of ladies can relate to. This is a great album and suggest you go pick it up and get some real music in your life.
